Roger Robinson: Portobello Beach Walk

Join poet Roger Robinson for an invigorating Sunday morning seaside walk along Portobello Beach. At this event, Roger will talk about his new book of writings and photography, Home Is Not A Place, co-authored by Johny Pitts. He will share some of the encounters and anecdotes the duo gathered when they, in their little red Mini, toured the length of Britain’s coast. Roger will also pose some of the questions he and Johny asked the black communities of Britain they met throughout their journey.
This event is a conversation with Roger, where you can also share your own memories of seaside walks and visits at this vital and personal start to the day.
