Publishing: where to start, how to continue, and what are your contract rights? This event digs deep into the mysteries of poetry publishing, answering all your questions from where to submit your first poem, to where support can be found when reviewing contracts. Publishing Scotland (Vikki Reilly) will be revealing its insights on the dos and don’ts of submitting to publishers and magazines, while the Society of Authors (Heather Parry) will share how the organisation can support you as a published poet. Critically acclaimed, and widely published, poet and author Tom Pow will also be telling the tale of his not-so-straightforward publishing story. This event is targeted at poets, both emerging and established, and there will be an opportunity at the end of the event for audience questions.
