The Friday Night: SIREN_SISTER, Anthony Anaxagorou, Stuart Murdoch and Iona Lee, hosted by Kirstin Innes

Janette Ayachi Anthony Anaxagorou Emma Snellgrove Stuart Murdoch Arusa Qureshi Kirstin Innes
Iona Lee

Friday 4th November

8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

This eclectic mix of poetry, dance, music, and DJing is an event not to be missed. Poet Janette Ayachi and movement artist Emma Snellgrove present their collaborative performance, SIREN_SISTER: an expression of words matched with expression through body, a platform achieving a magical tandem that harnesses a new language. Poet Anthony Anaxagorou brings his brand new collection, ‘Heritage Aesthetics’ to the festival, while Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch gives not just a song or two to the stage, but also draws deep from the relationship between poetry and lyrics. Poet and performer, Iona Lee, brings her dark and often surreal work to this boundless Friday night event, with Arusa Qureshi rounding off the evening with a DJ set. Hosted by the ever-effervescent Kirstin Innes.
