The Personal and the Poetic: Exploring Memory through Poetry

Kim Addonizio

Sunday 6th November

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

The lines between memoir, poetry, and fiction can often be blurred and blended, creating remarkable new works that fizz with originality and vibrancy. Part-lecture, part-generative workshop, poet Kim Addonizio leads this exceptional online session for all those interested in taking the form of poetry and bending it to accommodate memoir writing.

A poet who has more than dabbled in memoir – her dazzling and biting book, ‘Bukowski in a Sundress,’ is a must-read – Addonizio has a series of powerful provocations and exercises to get your pen moving across the page while your consciousness digs deep down inside your most treasured memories.

This is an online workshop. The link to join will be emailed 5 days and again 2 hours before the event.

£7.50/£5.00
